International Save the Family Ministry (ISFM) is the pioneering and foremost independent organization dedicated to families, changing lives, and shaping the future we all share. We take pride in collaborating with families, their communities, and churches, as well as our global partners, to explore innovative solutions that ensure the spiritual well-being of the world's most vulnerable families are preserved, educated, and safeguarded.
Story of ISFM
The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed in to his nostrils, the breath of life and the man became a living being. Now, the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden, and there He put the man He had formed, and the Lord God Commanded the man, You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die. Gen 2: 7-8; 16. But the man breaks the Word of God; he eats from the tree fruit. Then, the man heard the sound of the Lord, God, as he was walking in the garden at the call of the day, and they hid from the Lord, God, among the trees of the garden. So, the man was separated from the Lord, God, because of the death of his spiritual life. The man who separated from the Lord makes sin. Gen 3:8-9. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and in this way, the death came to all men. Because all sinned, for before the law was given, sin was in the world. In this case, God’s Word was preached in the world to re-counsel men with God.
But the man who was sinned does not fear, is not obedient, and does not give glory to God. All this and others are the causes for the death of spiritual life. That is why Jesus Christ came to this world to save the world. Especially, the death of family spiritual life causes many spiritual and social destructions both in the family, church, community, and, in a wide range, in the world. Among these destructions, the following two causes (sin-crime and divorce) forced us to establish the ministry, International Save Family Ministry (ISFM).

International Save the Family Ministry is a ministry that has been given by God and was born with great wisdom and can play a very important and positive role in today's churches that have neglected the issue of family. It is my constant prayer that the Lord will extend the number of years of the servants of Christ who have accepted this vision and turned it into a ministry and that they will see the fruit of their ministry.
My name is Asfaw Getachew. I am married, I am married, and this ministry has taught me a lot for my personal life. I also think that if the church supports this ministry and benefits from its services, it can bridge generations' spiritual gaps.
This ministry (International Saving Family Ministry) vision was given at the end of the world and its evil things that the people to close God, to know more about His words in order to respect, obey, worship,, live in and for Him, preach to the lost and save the family those who engaged in evil thoughts, routes, and acts (sin), avoid and minimize divorce, to manage the gifts (spiritual and secular material including knowledge, skill, human force, finance, and properties) given, to teach the discipleship to foster with God. This ministry can be used in all churches and denominations. I cordially invite, and inform that the leaders, teachers, servants, family and those who plan to have family (marriage), and all members of family should be trained in order to have safe and peaceful family, home, village/ environment, region and country, and world in general. I said this because after sharing the vision and taking trainings on the modules , I learnt more: how to be honest, trust, and lovely serve God and my family, set family worshop, bible study, how to handle and show spiritual route to my kids, make peaceful family with good governance of human, material and financial resource gifted from Almighty God. From the base of training, I hope God will help me and my family to live in Him and to Him. .
